Today’s gathering

Elex Media Online forum gathering, and actually planned birthday date. I went out around 09.30, earlier, to pick up my book in Kinokuniya book store in Plasa Indonesia. Got the Dragon Age magazine, which regretfully, Omamori Himari (my favourite title there currently) is having a break. But, there’s a chapter of the novel, I’ll try reading it later tonight.

Another surprise is Dragon Age Pure magazine. Yes, finally a copy, and it’s not as “Safe for work” as I first thought. Several stories are real funny, such as the Nina version of Chrome Shelled Legios. More review of story perhaps tomorrow. Luckily, this one had no special bonus, so the price is more or less same as it’s sister magazine.

But, I spent Rp.229k (approx €16.36) instantly (T_T) Yeah, furikake diet more tightly, have to stand not buying snack in office.

Then, rest in a small donut store while reading, and had some private time before joining the others (who by then, already finished the discounted book shopping (we, the employee of the Kompas-Gramedia group had 20% discount for books published by the group at Gramedia book store using out employee card ^^ )

Then, in the food court, having lunch. I somehow swayed to buy fish&chips, which cost quite a lot. At least my stomach is full. Then, we part for a while, I took her to wait for her car because she had to visit her father’s grave before the fasting month starts.

That means, cancelling the dinner plan.

I went back up, after stopping at the book store and buy three books. Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou and Teru Teru Koi Youhou. The others are currently taking pictures in the theme area in that mall.

Last event is watching the fountain show, and then, I went back. Now, resting in cafe typing story in a nice pace. Amazingly, I could stay more than two hours without going to the toilet. I must’ve drinked too little water today. So, until tomorrow, we had plan for lunch party at an all you can eat sushi restaurant :D

By the way, something interesting I saw on my way. There’s a poster on an electric pole near Hotel Indonesia roundabout with writing (translated): Indonesian 63rd Independence anniversary + FPI (Front Pembela Islam – Islam defender front; a rather radical organization). Disband Ahmadiyah.

Some explanation. FPI is a civil organization with Islamic attribute that’s rather radical in action. They organize raids against groups they consider is against the Islamic way. This includes the Indonesian Playboy magazine (which is really tame compared to the American counterpart), night clubs during the fasting month, and recently, Ahmadiyah, a variation of Islamic belief that’s by some peoples considered heretic. But in no means general public is defending them, how would you think of group that organize raids without needing warrant and think they can get away because they claim doing it like a holy mission ? Even if the majority of peoples here are Islam believers, that’s just too much threat to public safety. But, government doesn’t seem to be able or willing to do anything.

Now, back to the poster. My problem is, although there are text “Indonesian 63rd Independence Anniversary” there, which might imply that they’re wanting to use the event; the text is small, and above it is a large Indonesian flag. IMO, this could trick public into believing that the government or the nation is backing that group. They’re not using the official national seal of Garuda hawk, but the placing of national flag in that position and context could be considered as a trick. That’s my main objection in this case.

A morning walk

This morning, I take a walk outside, going to the bus stop and ask about if my key could be found.

I rarely walk out in the morning. Weekday is busy preparing to go to work. Weekend… let’s just say I’m lazy.

Morning is pretty too. The sunlight from behind clouds looks like the sky is of white opal. The weather is still clean too, the atmosphere had a rest in the night with cars less than the busy hours at noon. Not forgetting to mention, morning is the minimum temperature of a day.

But the reason I like dusk better is because, morning will turn into noon. The sky getting brighter, and the air is getting hotter. I prefer the autumn of a day better than spring.

Unluckiness three days straight

Last working day before the fasting month. No, we’re still in business during the month. But I doesn’t have many assignments left.

So because I had some free time, went to topics such as in Facebook. Some topic I visited in the local region group is like… did Jakarta need monorail, or what if cigarette is declared as haram (IINM, that means something sinful to be consumed according to Islam religion).

Then, had short date in office ^^ Made planning for tomorrow’s gathering, as well as her birthday event. Probably going to all you can eat Japanese barbeque restaurant :P

But the trouble came when going home. Actually, three days straight I had trouble when going home. First day, I had to stand for more than two hours waiting for the bus, before I gave up and took transit (two buses).

The next day, I sat next to a guy who sits with his leg spread wide, claiming one and a half passenger’s seat. There’s rain too, but I could shelter in a post, and in the bus, so I’m not drenched. Thanks to that, the weather is cool, which felt really good (^-^)

And also, there is this annoying beggar on the minibus transport I took from office. This beggar is… rather than begging, the intimidating type, acting drunk and insist peoples to give money (implying if you don’t, they’ll do drastic measures). Today, met him again with his friend, and seems like he didn’t like me who still insist on not giving him any money.

You know, I always think I’m not suited to be criminal or terrorist. I can’t remember other peoples’ face or name easily, but they seems to easily remember me, probably because my habit is rather eccentric?

The worst happens today. When I try to took out money to pay for the bus, I seems to accidentally pull out my keychain together. I didn’t realize it until I reached home. My biggest problem is the keychain, it’s a present (>_<)

I hope the attendant found and keep it, and I hope I could find him tomorrow morning. *sigh* Hope it’s not lost forever stolen by someone (T^T)

On IE8b2, Facebook fall back to old style. I guess this is Facebook’s way of handling unrecognized browser though, rather than IE’s fault. It works in compatibility mode.

Another side I meet trouble with is Livejournal. There are mistake in the rendering, and the posting interface can’t use the javascript-based rich-text editor.

IE8b2 Impressions

Internet Explorer 8 Beta 2 is released. Found this out when awaking 3 in the morning and checked RSS on my phone from my side of bed.

I decided jumping on the bandwagon, although only on my office’s XP workstation which already used beta 1 version. Still hesitant on installing it to my home PCs before testing.

[Add] Installed it in my notebook with Vista HP (both Home Premium and Hewlett-Packard). The on-the-surface experience is more or less the same.

First thing I noticed is performance, which is actually usable. When using beta 1, I had to keep on using Emulate IE7 mode, because pure IE8 mode is too slow, everything is so… no, not using that word, I hate that animal, just an image made me creeps in disgust.

But beta 2 is better than that. There are quotes that it uses twice as much memory as IE7. But for performance, I won’t compare with others like Firefox or Opera or Safari; but compared to IE7, the speed is not so different for most of the time.

Anyway, first I went to somewhere with review, either IE Blog, or the Windows Experience to check up the features to try (think of it like, reading the manual brochure before using).

Then, the favourite bar… doesn’t use that, so no comment. There’s rarely web slices in sites I visited. I hope Live 3.0 will have them, promoting the web slice technology. As for RSS, I subscribed to them using Live personalized page.

The address bar. I like the display better. Never tried in Firefox, but in Opera and IE8b1, the suggestion and history is too many at once, with no easy separation between categories. In this b2, there are separators and the titles are easier to read.

Tab group? Yeah, very very useful as mentioned, to track when I look for reviews while browsing something else. And also when opening several forum post with terribly lot of picture links :D

InPrivate

The much talked InPrivate browsing. Reading the ideas of it, loved it. What I like from Opera is the ability to quickly shut out Cookies while browsing. And by the way, an entry from IE Blog.

InPrivate Blocking keeps a record of third-party items like the one above as you browse. When you choose to browse with InPrivate, IE automatically blocks sites that have “seen” you across more than ten sites.

I guess, that includes urchin.js *LoL*

BTW, I’m also expecting user-driven sites to starts creating InPrivate subscriptions. IE Blog describe that these subscriptions are feeds or regular expressions on files to block, just like there are community sites that posted block list for the HOST file.

These private browsing are available in Safari, IE8 and Chrome already, Firefox would likely not far. So, this could be a technology that changed online-user data-gathering. No, that’s not a good thing really. I prefer these fields to never evolve (and for online advertising also to never evolve while ad blocking techniques evolve) :D

Suggestions

They changed “Activity” to “Accelerators”. I actually think Activity is more intuitive name than accelerators.

Suggestion that the domain highlight should be done by bolding the domain name rather than greying out the rest of the URL is also something to consider (I forgot who suggested this in the b1 time).

Actually, I’d love more integration with Live services, for example the Live Favourites, or RSS feeds.

My suggestion for InPrivate is, there should be a new option in context menu, other than “Open in New Tab” and “Open in New Window”, they should add “Open in InPrivate browsing mode”, so we can move more easily between modes.

The ability to quickly disable flash and scripts is going to be great too, but because the name is InPrivate, I guess this is pulling it too much.

IE Pro add on is not working. Now, waiting for them to update their application. I like their ads blocking feature.

As for today’s use, I find sometimes, this version still having trouble to render sites with awfully lot of tables. Example is forum using Simple Machine Forum engine. Sometimes, there will be text not rendered. Also, sometimes text are like floating out of where they should be.

For those sites, the team provide a report web page add on. Using this, when finding pages that doesn’t work, you could submit to the list.

Another quirks is that, the header colour in my.live.com seems to change into lighter colour when IE gets out of focus.

There’s also some complaints in the IE Blog’s comments, such as not wanting the new address bar, a paste-and-go (although I need more the paste url splitted in multiple line option).

And, there is a complain about how the Manage Favourites is not changing from the age of IE 4. But hey, Windows’ install font dialogue doesn’t change ever since Windows 3.1. I guess that’s Microsoft ^^;

PS: I’ve just noticed today, IEBlog.com is taken, but not by Microsoft. Ironically, it’s Mozilla blog. Is this the same as phishing scheme using .com or .net domain name confusion?

PS2: who started that “porn mode” meme anyway ?

Two hours wait

The bus is terribly late again today. I waited two hours until finally giving up. I hope the new bus way is operational soon, so at least I can get back home cheaper.

So, the monitoring meeting today includes free lunch. They served bento, well, junk food. But unlike the usual for mass package which is cheapest-of-the-line menu, we get the somewhere in the middle menu. Understandable, there’s not many peoples in the meeting, and those coming are almost all representative or manager of each divisions.

Got almost all jobs finished today, yay! That’s for the simple way to say it.

And back at home, I’m glad my old LCD is still alive. It’s been with me for probably five years, and while it’s still alive, I had dual monitor setup. When it dies, had to save for a long time before I could buy a new one.

The problem is, if the electric plug is pulled, then it will be really difficult to turn it on again.

2008/8/26

That’s nostalgic XD

My dad bought SP Troches by Meiji. It’s a throat antiseptic pill, shaped like Polo candy, and taken with the same method. I tried one, and upon popping it out, came a smell and taste that felt nostalgic.

Ah! The strawberry taste like toothpaste I had long time ago *laughs*

Anyway, today I had to delegate for my boss again. Along way, there’s a lot of complaints about many things from many peoples. Those are like workflows, peoples not taking jobs because it’s not counted into achievement index, lack of workers, sickness, and why there’s lacking of one shot comics lately.

But for tomorrow’s monitoring meeting, there will be lunch included. Starting next month, the Muslim are starting their fasting month of Ramadan. So, there will be free lunch served :D

But there’s story too about that month. During that month, most of the street side food sellers are closed during the day, as a forced respect towards those holding back their hunger by not giving them temptation of food.

Where’s the logic in that ? Two and a half decades living here, I think they prefer to eliminate threats than leaving it lingering around. This means, in public place, you’ll see restaurants closing their glass door and window with curtain so peoples outside (assumed majority are fasting) won’t need to see peoples eating.

And, what happened to food seller that doesn’t have that “solidarity” ? They’re attacked and later nobody came to their place, so they’re out of business. I don’t know the detail, but probably there are peoples threatening peoples to not come there. No, we don’t file lawsuit here easily, and the cost will not be affordable to most peoples anyway.

Then, I thought also when waiting for bus. There’s something called corruption by need. Supposedly, police are paid too low for their survival in this terrible economic situation that they’re forced to do illegal things such as taking bribes, or threatening business to pay.

But will giving them proper payment ends that act of corruption? No way. They know a way to get “easy money”. If they got properly paid, then that means they can get what, twice or thrice their monthly payment if added with the monthly wage. So why stop and settle with just one amount if you can get twice ? That way if thinking is there.

And it publishes smoothly

My desktop, and the office on 79% Synth. I took it with my phone camera, so the picture is rather blurry. Maybe I’ll try taking more pictures tomorrow and re-synth the picture for version 1.0.1.

As a note, my desk is the one with pink glass.

2008/8/24

And the synth

Hasn’t shows up yet.

I started yesterday night, probably around 19.40. The calculation, I assume took time up to 00.30 or so, taking full of my CPU (but I still could browse). Then the uploading of pictures took time up to 09.17.

But until this moment, the publishing still is not finished yet, my synth (which sadly only reached 23%) has not shows up in the website yet. I’ll try again next time.

From talk in the support forum, seems like the system is overwhelmed by all those “want to try” wave of Synths.

Tomorrow I’ll try making another of my office, hope that one will shows up sooner.

2008/8/23

First try synth, no upload yet

Well, I dreamt of going on photo hunting in Kota, and Photosynth is released early this week; so I guess, why not go there and take pictures like crazy ?

My condition is getting better too, a breath of fresh air seems like what I’ll need.

So, I go there around 14.00, the consideration it’s not dead middle of the noon, but still strong lighting from above. Also, there’s still not much peoples gathering there.

My camera is just camera phone though, so quality is not something I’d took pride of. And since we’re going for picture stitching, I also didn’t think much about composition, as long as many pictures are overlapping to be processed.

But when taking pictures, there’s an event that made me nervous. A group of visitors from Malaysia asked about what I’m taking picture of. Well, it’s unusual to see someone taking picture of the edge of a building.

The talk went on a little longer. I got a name card and I exchanged my e-mail, talk a bit about my job (and amazingly, I failed to reciprocate and asked about . They asked if I could help and be guide in case next time they want to visit Jakarta, and I could contact them if I want to visit Kuala Lumpur for example.

I didn’t think I have enough knowledge to act as a guide though, but I’m still too nervous to tell that ^^;

Anyway, I’ll compose and upload the synth tonight. Can’t wait for it to show up. Monday, I planned gathering picture for synth of my office.

[Add]

Actually, after that, I went to the nearby cafe and had a tea time. It’s a nice place, having the old time decoration style. And when I finished and went out, they’ve turned on the lights on the square. I hasn’t visited the old squares of European cities though, but for the closer to home, I like that place ^^

Lyrical Nanoha - Betrayers

Credit goes to merpperoni @ Fakku forum.

I don't have any download not translation!

(C74) (同人誌) [比村乳業(仮) (比村奇石)] 魔法少女リリカルなのは Betrayers (魔法少女リリカルなのはStrikerS)

This is one of my most waited doujin from the C74. After Sword Dancers, Himura Kiseki is one of the artists I liked. He made cool characters depiction, epic story, and page count that’s a lot more than most other artists.

Previously he made the Sword Dancers trilogy, parody work of Fate\Stay Night series (in total, more than 100 pages of story). This time, he starts on Lyrical Nanoha, going to the more free alternate history.

I hasn’t read all of the texts, so I’m not too sure about the story. It goes about someone committed suicide, new mysterious disease, Hayate’s coup and the bureau constructed army of battle androids.

Full scale war ensues between faction of the old administration bureau (with Fate and the star and lightning forward team) against Hayate’s army. Nanoha then joined and fought with Hayate also. In the end, Chrono made broadcast about the hunting done by bureau and bring his fleet to build a new nation with the church of holy emperor (Vivio as the king). The whole fleet of battle ships then joined.

Hope there will be continuation in the C75 this winter. Aaargh! Want to go to winter Comiket! >_<

My comment, as I mentioned, I liked his depiction of characters as well as the epicness. But his taste for angst and tragedy is not really my best liked value ^^;

Back to work

My back to work seems to be summarized in one common phrase. “Business as usual”.

Yes, everything is back as usual, checking proofs and those. I’m lucky that most of my titles for this month is finished already. As expected, a new translation is in.

There are some short greets and asking, but then… yes, as usual. And as usual, there’s no clean spoon in the pantry. Had to come early to office on Monday to take some.

A tool is broken and I still can’t print out a report. In my opinion, the production line management software system is a fail. In the process of design, the IT folks seems to only do requirement gathering from the text book divisions, and forget about us in the comic book division (although we had the largest yearly income IINM). The workflow in the comic book division is rather different, especially because the large volume of titles to work on also.

My gf also came today, submitting translation results. Copied some files and ROM of Square’s new game for DS. Sticking together for a while and I get my Yuri Hime S magazine ^^ The payment is worrying though, I still had more than 300k debt account on her.

By the way, for Monday and Tuesday, I had a plan for the early hour and lunch time. If it succeed, I’ll post it here ^^

2008/8/21

Stylus

Ever since that phone showed that it’s possible and cool to use only fingers for navigation on portable gadget, stylus seems like an abomination isn’t it ?
Even though, ever since my Palm TE is still alive, I did use fingers for many casual stuffs.

Anyway, Samsung Omnia is released on Tuesday here in Jakarta, costing somewhere around Rp.7.5M (approx €550) for 16 GB (no 8GB model it seems). Local reviews are still waiting, but there’s already complaint about the dangling stylus.

I think, they intent on making stylus part of the product cosmetic. Why not make the sore thumb a part of the charm right ? If it’s done right, it sounds like a great move by product design.

But I remembered one of the hanging stylus design that I still love up to this day. It’s the Sony Vaio VGN-U50 handheld PC (UMPC is not coined yet back at that time, I think).

The stylus looks sporty with the fin on strap (or maybe it just reminds me of keyword “surfing”) while alone, I’ve been wanting to get one cheap and modify it as a clip earring for long time ^^;

…maybe not a bad thing to try. Next local product fair in JCC, perhaps there will be something that looks like it. ^^

Vacation plan

I think, if MS release something for the consumers (definitely not something of the Windows Server family), it always stirs excitement. One of them is Photosynth (I think I mentioned it briefly in my Listas post).

It’s released to public finally. We can create our own Synth collection. Procedures is in the website, I’m currently registering an ID and downloading the client. Apparently, because of the excitement also, there seems to be bottleneck on the server currently ^^;

So what does it means for vacation plan ? A good reason to shot pictures like crazy and share it in style :D

I’m still not in the condition to write this for challenge yet, but I hope there are the others from the Clubhouse who will be interested in trying and sharing story about this. After all, the Vacation club challenge is still on :D

Living a joke

“Dad, your life is a joke.”

I thought of the phrase that I forgot where I heard it from before. I’m not yet a parent, and I wonder if I really want to be one in this world where the cost of child-raising is raising more and more.

If it will just be like drug that gave you momentary joy and more time having migraines about having to work your each breath of life and sacrificing time to be with the child, I prefer looking for fun somewhere else (unfortunately, some idea of having fun will have children as “side effect” rather than “benefit”).

Anyway, that’s a different matter though. How do you want your life to be ? I think, I want mine to be a joke, in a positive way; something that when peoples heard of, they will laugh and forget their own problem for a while then look outside the window and think more positively. I like jokes better than enlightening stories, because it warms up the moods in a more enjoyable way.

But, you know how thing is if you expect things to happens in a natural and spontaneous way. They just don’t happens that often

(=д=)

2008/8/20

Back to work soon

Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, shorter to say that yesterday, the day before yesterday, the day before before…

So, how’s my sickness? Not much different that usual. Usually, I’m already easily irritated and felt itchy. The fact is those blisters doesn’t really itch more than the usual. My main problem is I had two quite large and nicely pressurized blisters on my left arm, two of the oldest ones. Blister –> Blister pack –> POP!

Yeah, that’s one of the main problem. I want to pop it XD

Anyway, I think I’ll be back at work on tomorrow or the day after. Hope I don’t get any trouble from my works. I’m kind of lean on many language uses so if it’s delegated to the stricter editors, I’ll be in some sort of trouble.

The legacy of this episode is, a lot of small red marks on my body, and some noticeable ones on my face, which I hope will recover with time to something less attention getting. Some of them seems to be getting a bit of trauma by my doing though :P

So my father’s argument on why I don’t have vaccination. When I’m younger, I almost go to the doctor on monthly basis. And when I’m older, they already forgot which vaccinations I’ve had.

The treatment from doctor includes anti-virus oral medication, and sort of crystals mixed with bathing water. I think it’s sort of anti-septic, the hand written label said PK crystal. When added to water, it also works as sort of colouring agent, and seeing it spins into the water with trail of colour is fun also, a purple vortex until it mixes with the rest of the water ^^

2008/8/17

Scammers…

Other than can’t going out and have to watch out where I scratch, more or less I’m about as healthy as the usual weekend when I don’t have any outdoor activity and bored as hell because nobody is online!

Today is my mother’s birthday, so as I never like it, there’s many obnoxious phone calls. Then, some her friends includes a type I really hate. Yes, the type that could call friends as “prospect” (read: money well), MLM salesman.

The company name is Amega Global, selling magnetic bracelet with all miracles it made. My father seems really interested, although I’m not sure if he’s interested in the very much screaming hoax product, or the potential of ripping someone else’s money in the pyramid scheme (or in Japanese they call it rat scheme, which does picture what happened in the end ^^; )

For me, I swore that until I had the money to do my own scientific tracing of all the claims from the product, I’ll never ever waste my money. After all, one of the powerful advantage of snake-oil sellers are, most peoples just don’t have the money and time to do their own verification. They will just swallow it all instead when the seller bluffs them with “try and check it yourself”, many don’t have time and will just be too afraid to be ashamed to face the possibility that the claim might be true. Learned that from a mock presentation during campus years.

2008/8/16

Grounded by blisters >_<

*bitter laughs* So I do got infected by my brother’s chickenpox. Still light amounts of blisters so far and not yet itchy all over (other than light irritation and those damned mosquitoes). This means calling off all my weekend plannings and had to take days off (while I had one script not yet sent to pre-production and more proofs will flows in).

My dad say just take the medication my brother had. I’m not sure, so I want to go to the doctor for diagnosis. When my father called, well, he’s deeply annoyed about why I choose to go to doctor for something obvious and waste money. Indeed, the examination alone would cost 10% of my monthly paycheck, not including the medicines. Since I’m not yet a permanent employee until next year, the company won’t have benefits for medical treatment for me.

But the percentage. I’m still quite lucky to stay in my family’s place for now, but that is about the minimum wage of a decent job here. Seeing the comparison, it’s easily understandable why many had their sickness untreated isn’t it ?

The government is mostly considered to be unreliable and will only find way to let more than half the budget flows into their personal wallet, after all, “the lowly” will send their complaints to deaf ears who will protect each other’s ass. General election is coming ? Most peoples might also belief that all the candidates are the same anyway.

Education had the same cost issues, even though medias often showed that schools in rural region tends to have roofs that’s on the verge of collapsing (or already collapsed).

2008/8/15

Staying too long…

How quick it is for the weather to change. When I get out of my office on 1630, the sky is already as dark as it would be on 1740. Thick clouds hung over the area and the western sky had milky gradation of yellow.

But by the time I decided to take whatever bus available, the sky already clears up. The moon is a bit red, like the clouds above it. Soon, it will be 12:00 for the month ^^

The bus is late, real late, or I just missed another one a few minutes earlier. And during the waiting, really, poverty is a problem isn’t it? With the busy life trying to get something to eat for tomorrow, children are sent as beggars and left to do anything.

There’s one kid I saw today, he seemed to enjoy putting his ears on the sidewalk or traffic light, listening to the voice. But he also spits and lick it again. I got “ACK!?”
But no parents are to stop such behaviour. They probably too busy doing something else, or had too many children. But that’s just an assumption.

Then I thought, let’s not starts the talk to assume all human are made equal. Even if they does, not all live equals. How would we treat poverty caused by lack of quality on the individuals ? This is not simply education that will hopefully show results in few generations after, but now. After all, which do you think has higher priority ? Better life for five year after, or surviving tomorrow without dying in hunger ?

The world is highly competitive. Rather than having many workers with average quality (and many paycheck to pay), it’s more efficient to have several Aces who will almost do everything. In a world like that, how would those who do lack the talent would survive ?

Or in the end, we’ll give up and say “let them die and free them from this worldly suffering” ?

A long night

An update, I felt better this morning after long sleep.

But last night is really longer than usual. I went to sleep around 2000, and woke up around 2105. It felt like hours already. Again I went to sleep and got awakened in the middle of the night. When thinking it’s 4 or 5, it’s actually around midnight. Why can’t every night be like this ?

Anyway, seems like I won’t be taking day off from office today.

2008/8/14

Lots of misses

Continuing the Murphy’s law, I had a suspicion about what could be a painful combo of it *LoL*

August 17th is Indonesian independence day, and this year, it’s international days off because it falls on the seventh day. August 18th is stated as national days off also. This means, three days vacation.

My brother had chickenpox. I kept distance, but being in the same house, the risk of infection is high. Today, I’m not feeling well and felt slight fever. The fever is gone for now, but still feel tired and had a light headache.

Ah right, and the clean water from our local treatment facility is not running. The residents in this housing complex would have to depend on water from reservoir for time being, and it’s not many, including for bath and cooking.

I hope it’s just a common fever, because if it happens on Saturday, the doctors might be enjoying their vacation. Staying in the house sick during vacation is not fun at all :P
[Add] So far, the symptoms sounds like just a cold. Fever with slight headache and dizziness.

Anyway, today’s also filled with failed shots. There’s a post in the intersection, and I’ve just noticed that the bar had embossed serial numbers. But because I don’t have any macro function in my phone, as well as being too much in hurry, I can’t get a good shot of the numbers.

There’s also several missed shots, such as when a disabled man rolls on a simple cart across the empty intersection. Because the intersection is empty (the light is red), he become the point of focus in the scene.
The other missed shot is when two women who sell snacks there are playing with each others. One put on her friend’s head a long package of mug noodle (imagine cup instant noodle, but without the Styrofoam cup).

Both are picture of peoples though. I guess it’s rude to just take the picture without asking permission.

Another one is near Tomang, a line of ojek (motorcycle taxi, without any public transport license) waiting in their base. This one is from inside the bus, so I can’t get the position. In these situation, personal transport sounds practical isn’t it.
